Description:
Key Responsibilities
- Design, architect, and implement secure, scalable, and high-performing Azure solutions based on business requirements.
- Lead the development and evolution of Azure-based Landing Zones, ensuring alignment with enterprise governance and compliance.
- Guide and implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices using Terraform, Bicep, and ARM templates.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to build and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions.
- Drive cloud migration initiatives, including rehosting, refactoring, and rearchitecting legacy applications.
- Lead discussions and workshops with stakeholders to define technical architecture, patterns, and best practices.
- Integrate Microsoft Dynamics 365 environments through Lifecycle Services (LCS) for deployment automation (preferred).
- Define and enforce Azure security policies, identity management, and access controls.
- Work closely with operations to ensure monitoring, alerting, and performance tuning are in place.
- Contribute to and oversee FinOps strategies, ensuring efficient use and cost management of Azure resources.
- Mentor cloud engineers and contribute to building an internal knowledge-sharing culture.
- Required Skills & Experience
- 10+ years of overall IT experience, with 7+ years focused on cloud architecture and infrastructure.
- Extensive, hands-on experience with Azure services including:
- Virtual Machines (VMs), Virtual Networks (VNets), Network Security Groups (NSGs)
- Azure Storage, Azure Active Directory (Azure AD), Application Gateways, and Azure Monitor
- Deep understanding of cloud networking concepts, including DNS, VPNs, load balancing, ExpressRoute, and firewalls.
- Strong hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform (preferred), Bicep, or ARM.
- Proficient in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python for automation and orchestration.
- Proven experience with DevOps tools including Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, and pipeline automation.
- Ability to define and enforce cloud security standards, including RBAC, encryption, and key management.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365 and LCS (nice to have).
- Solid understanding of cloud governance, policies, tagging, and cost optimization practices.
