Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist - PM or Night Shift

Salary: $34.00 - $45.00 per hour

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Conduct high-quality CT scans while ensuring the comfort and safety of patients.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, explaining procedures and addressing concerns.
  • Review and evaluate radiographs for image clarity, consulting with radiologists to ensure precision in diagnoses.
  • Manage the HIS/RIS system for accurate ordering, tracking, and billing of imaging exams.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and clinical teams for efficient workflows and immediate exam readings.
  • Ensure all imaging equipment and work areas are clean, functional, and compliant with safety standards.
  • Prioritize and handle urgent imaging requests to optimize departmental efficiency and patient outcomes.

Minimum Position Qualifications:
  • ARRT certification in CT required.
  • Current IEMA certification.
  • Minimum of 1 year professional experience in radiology or related field.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and skill in CT imaging procedures and practices.
  • Ability to maintain high levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in an academic or large hospital setting.
  • Advanced certification in multiple radiologic technologies.
  • Proven track record of improving imaging processes and patient satisfaction.
