Why Join Us:

We are seeking a bright, self-motivated System Integration Engineer to accelerate the development of our cutting-edge FMCW LiDAR products. In this role, you will be instrumental in turning innovative concepts into practical, high-performance solutions. You'll design and execute comprehensive system-level verification tests, lead the bring-up of new LiDAR systems, and perform detailed calibration and characterization-all while collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary engineering team. Your contributions will be crucial in supporting both our customer base and production operations.

Location: NYC Office (on-site)

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement engineering, design, and product verification tests that ensure design integrity and performance.
  • Create detailed engineering test plans that validate subsystem and whole-system specifications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine testing processes and enhance system reliability.
  • Design and implement automated test cases utilizing benchtop equipment and motorized stages.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues during system bring-up to optimize performance.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field.
  • Minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience in electrical board bring-up, testing, and debugging relevant hardware systems using benchtop test equipment (oscilloscopes, function generators, spectrum analyzers, and logic analyzers).
  • Proficiency in Python programming is required.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with hardware engineers, particularly in the debugging and testing of mixed-signal circuits.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting capabilities for addressing complex system challenges.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of conveying technical concepts and test results clearly and effectively.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary engineering teams.
  • Highly self-driven with a keen attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with radar or LiDAR system integration, calibration, and testing.
  • Familiarity with fiber optics, photonics, or LiDAR technologies.
