Regional General Manager - Building Management Systems

Description:
As a Regional General Manager for the Honeywell branded building management systems line of business, you will hold overall profit-and-loss responsibility for the business. You will establish and drive breakthrough strategies to accelerate the growth trajectory of the business by leveraging innovation, deploying new methods to generate demand and optimizing the core business. You will have significant customer-facing engagement and will regular updates to Honeywell executive leadership.
You will report directly to the General Manager of Building Management Systems America, and you'll work out of our Atlanta, GA location on a hybrid work schedule. This role requires up to 60% domestic travel.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Set and execute business strategy.
o Collaborate in building annual operating plan.
o Set strategy aligned with business objectives.
o Lead deployment of strategic objectives.
o Develop and maintain a baseline knowledge and understanding of Honeywell offerings and solutions.
Achieve annual targets for orders, revenue, margins and cash flow.
o Provide accurate forecasts built on sales pipeline.
o Drive strong commercial operating system within/across team.
o Develop strong, collaborative working relationships with internal and external stakeholders across the organization in order to remove barriers for the team.
o Provide updates and present proposals to executive leadership.
Engage with customers.
o Conduct strategic business discussions and negotiate strategic deals at with customer ownership/executive level.
o Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the customer base.
Lead and develop a high-performing sales team.
o Develop and mentor new and existing team members of varying levels of experience, providing actionable coaching to enable growth.
o Develop leaders to effectively lead and manage their respective teams.
o Determine and communicate clear career path for those on their team by prioritizing active succession planning at all levels.
o Foster a growth mindset within team.

YOU MUST HAVE
Bachelors degree
8+ years of operations, business management, sales, commercial or project management experience
5+ years of direct team leadership experience
Financial proficiency at the P&L level
Proven ability to deliver strong results / achieve performance targets
Ability to travel up to 60% domestically and internationally (as necessary)
Experience in standard productivity software suites (e.g. Microsoft Office)
