Core Functional Summary

This position is primarily responsible for providing the leadership, management, support, and vision necessary to ensure that the company has the proper operational controls, administrative and reporting procedures, and people systems in place to effectively grow the organization and to ensure financial strength and operating efficiency

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Responsibilities include the following; other duties may be assigned:
  • Oversight of the bank's core operational areas, such as: deposit operations, loan operations, card services, support center, and branch operations.
  • Develop and implement operational strategies, policies, and procedures that enhance efficiency and support business growth.
  • Lead operational modernization initiatives.
  • Responsible for the measurement and effectiveness of all processes internal and external.
  • Provides timely, accurate and complete reports on the operating condition of the company.
  • Monitor performance metrics and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Oversee the management of all branch operations functions.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable federal and state laws and regulations and Bank policies and procedures.
  • Responsible for supporting the vision and execution of strategy across the organization.
  • Identify, analyze, and resolve operational issues affecting functional departments across the bank; collaborate with department heads to access root causes, implement corrective actions, and improve workflow efficiency and service delivery.


Requirements and Qualifications
  • Minimum of a Bachelor of Arts or Science degree (B.A.) in finance, business, real estate or related field preferred.
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels
  • Experience with digital transformation initiatives and leveraging technology to improve operational efficiency
  • Must be bilingual in both English and Spanish. Ability to fluently speak, understand, read and write both languages.
  • Advanced Skills with Microsoft Office.
