- First-Year Analyst responsibilities include financial analysis and modeling of various transactions, including mergers and acquisition, public offerings and private placements of debt and equity securities. First-Year Analysts also prepare presentation materials and assist in "due diligence" efforts on behalf of our clients. First-Year Analysts typically work on multiple deal teams with two or three senior bankers on each transaction.
