Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Sales Leader to join our team at Accutrol LLC. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all sales activities of Accutrol globally.

The Director of Sales is responsible for all sales for Accutrol and carries out supervisory responsibilities following the organization's policies. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training representatives and Regional Sales Managers; planning, assigning, and directing work, appraising performance, addressing complaints, and resolving problems.

This position requires extensive travel.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company revenue goals and expand market share.
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to meet and exceed targets.
  • Analyze market trends, competition, and customer needs to identify new business opportunities.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships to enhance satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Collaborate with marketing, product, and account management teams to ensure alignment and maximize opportunities.
  • Oversee the sales pipeline, forecast sales performance, and provide detailed sales reports to executive leadership.
  • Set and monitor sales KPIs, budgets, and pricing strategies for new and existing products.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews, provide feedback, and implement training programs for continuous team development.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and client meetings as needed.


Knowledge and Skills Requirement:

  • Product/service expertise: Deep understanding of the company's offerings to effectively communicate value propositions and address client needs.
  • Sales forecasting and budgeting: Ability to predict revenue trends, allocate resources, and set achievable targets based on market data.
  • Market and competitor analysis: Proficiency in evaluating industry trends, customer behavior, and competitive positioning to identify growth opportunities.
  • CRM and sales tools: Mastery of platforms like Salesforce for pipeline management, customer engagement, and performance tracking.
  • Strategic sales planning: Developing long-term strategies to expand market share and align sales goals with organizational objectives.
  • Data-driven decision-making: Analyzing sales metrics, financial reports, and KPIs to optimize team performance and revenue.
  • Business development: Identifying and capitalizing on new revenue streams, partnerships, and client acquisition strategies.
  • Project management: Overseeing multiple initiatives, ensuring deadlines are met, and coordinating cross-functional teams.
  • Leadership and team motivation: Inspiring high-performing teams, fostering collaboration, and mentoring sales professionals.
  • Communication and active listening: Clearly articulating expectations, negotiating deals, and resolving client or internal conflicts.
  • Problem-solving and adaptability: Addressing challenges like market shifts, customer objections, or operational bottlenecks with innovative solutions.
  • Time management and delegation: Prioritizing tasks, managing workflows, and empowering team members to maximize efficiency.


Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of proven experience in a sales leadership role (Director, Sales Manager, or similar).
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute successful sales strategies and consistently meet or exceed targets.
  • Strong leadership, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency with CRM and sales software tools (e.g., Salesforce).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends.
  • High energy, self-motivated, and results driven.
