As SCCO, you will be the principal architect behind the integration of two previously independent compliance departments into a single, unified compliance program. You'll serve as a strategic advisor to the Board of Directors and executive leadership, driving the system's approach to privacy, regulatory standards, and ethical conduct across nine hospitals, more than 20 regional partnerships, and a workforce of 9,000+ employees and 1,200 providers.

What You'll Lead
- Unify and build a comprehensive compliance department, aligning processes, people, and policies into one integrated system.
- Design and lead the development, implementation, and evaluation of an enterprise-wide compliance program grounded in transparency, accountability, and effectiveness.
- Advise the system Board and executive leadership with clarity and vision on risk mitigation, education, audits, and legal regulations.
- Direct investigations, HIPAA oversight, and risk assessments, ensuring adherence to both internal standards and external requirements.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, bringing together diverse teams and empowering them under a shared mission of integrity and excellence.
Who We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, healthcare management, or related field required (Master's or JD strongly preferred).
- CHPS (Certified in Healthcare Privacy and Security) or CHC (Certified in Healthcare Compliance) certification required.
- 10+ years of executive-level leadership in healthcare compliance and privacy within a large hospital or healthcare system.
- Demonstrated ability to lead strategic initiatives, implement system-wide frameworks, and build strong, unified teams.
- Skilled in navigating complex regulatory environments and communicating effectively with executive stakeholders.
- Strong analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills-capable of uniting teams and leading change with clarity and purpose.
