FTE: Full Time, 80.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks)

Shift: Days

Pay: $47.57 - $76.11 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience

This position is an onsite role and does not offer a hybrid or remote option.

Requirements:

Minimum Required Education: Bachelor's degree and graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program.
Required Licensure/Certification: Registered as a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC). State licensure if required by law. Relevant life support certification: BLS and ACLS.
Minimum Experience: 5 years of respiratory therapy experience.

Summary:
As the Respiratory Therapy Manager, at University of Colorado Hospital you will be a vital leader responsible for the efficient and effective daily operations of the Respiratory Therapy unit. You will oversee a team of respiratory therapists and support staff, ensuring the delivery of high-quality respiratory care to patients across various units within the hospital. Your leadership will foster a collaborative and patient-centered environment, promoting adherence to best practices, safety standards, and regulatory requirements. You will play a key role in staff development, resource management, and the continuous improvement of respiratory therapy services.

Responsibilities:
Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that encourages teamwork, communication, and professional growth.
Oversee the delivery of respiratory therapy services in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols.
Monitor and evaluate the quality and effectiveness of respiratory care provided, implementing performance improvement initiatives as needed.
Stay current with advancements in respiratory therapy practices and technologies.
Support and encourage the professional development of staff through continuing education and training opportunities.
Serve as a liaison between the Respiratory Therapy unit and other hospital departments.
