Sr HR Business Partner AT PRIMEFLIGHT

The Sr. HR Business Partner serves as a strategic partner and advisor to business leaders, driving HR initiatives that align with organizational goals. This role provides expert guidance on employee relations, compliance, and talent strategies, working closely with leadership to create a high-performance, people-focused culture. The Sr. HRBP leads complex HR initiatives, organizational change efforts, and compliance programs while partnering with cross-functional teams to develop sustainable, data-driven solutions.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Act as a trusted advisor to senior business leaders, guiding decision-making on complex HR matters and organizational effectiveness
Proactively identify and influence HR-related priorities, working closely with leadership to develop and implement strategic workforce initiatives
Lead organizational change efforts, ensuring smooth transitions while balancing business needs and employee engagement
Drive HR process improvements and innovation to enhance employee experiences and organizational outcomes
Oversee and manage highly sensitive employee relations matters, including workplace investigations, escalations, grievances, and conflict resolution
Analyze HR data and key workforce metrics to identify trends, inform decision-making, and drive proactive solutions
Lead large-scale HR initiatives, projects, and system implementations, ensuring successful execution and adoption
Develop and facilitate HR-related training programs, including topics such as leadership development, compliance, and best practices
Lead HR compliance efforts, ensuring adherence to federal, state, and local labor laws, regulations, and bargaining agreements (FMLA, ADA, EEOC, FLSA, Title VII, Union Relations)
Mentor and collaborate with members of the HR team to promote a dynamic working together culture
May be assigned other duties as required

QUALIFICATIONS
18 years of age or older
Eligible to work in the United States
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field OR relevant experience in lieu of a degree
HR certification, a plus (e.g., SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR)
5+ years of experience in HR, with at least 4 years in a managerial role
Experience in HRIS systems, UKG experience a plus
Excellent organizational, time management and project management skills; must be able to multi-task, problem solve, prioritize, and work under pressure on tight timelines
Strong knowledge of HR principles, practices, employment, and laws
Intermediate/Highly proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
Must have a valid state-issued driver's license with an acceptable driving record
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
Bilingual in English/Spanish a plus (unless required, list as required)
Effectively communicate with colleagues and clients, both in-person and through electronic means
Pass a background check and drug screen
Must be flexible to work extended hours on occasion to support our field operations
