As part of our growth strategy, Albireo Energy is increasing our sales staff, we are currently looking for a Fire Alarm Account Executive who will be responsible for profitable and aggressive sales growth in the San Diego, CA area. The Account Executive should have experience in fire alarm sales and estimation for mid-size to large commercial projects. The Account Executive will be responsible for growing our fire alarm market share across multiple vertical markets here in San Diego.
  • Sales of fire alarm, access control, video surveillance, and other specialty systems.
  • Support coworkers, and other branch departments wherever needed.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with contractors, end users, and consulting engineers.
  • Achieve assigned annual quota both in revenue dollars and gross margin targets.
  • Review and interpret project bid documents.
  • Design systems and prepare estimates for fire alarm and other specialty systems.
  • Produce accurate quotation proposals.
  • Develop scope of work based on design build and / or plan and specifications bid documents.
  • Manage a "bid calendar".
  • Negotiation and close proposed work.

Requirements
  • Proven success in fire alarm sales.
  • 3+ years of experience in sales in the fire alarm industry.
  • Extensive knowledge and understanding of all local, state, and federal code requirements.
  • Effective communication skills, written and verbal.
  • Ability to estimate material and labor for fire alarm, and other systems.
  • Ability to read and understand architectural, mechanical, electrical, & fire alarm drawings.
  • Use of CRM tool for pipeline and activity management.
  • Give presentations to a broad and varied audience.
  • Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Sales forecasting and "plan" to meet quota.
  • Clean driving record.
  • NICET 1 or higher, required within the first year of employment.
  • Create and provide requests for information, RFI's, to customers.
  • Work with sub-contractors for installation pricing.
  • Work with vendors for material pricing.
  • Attend networking events, sales meetings, and training seminars.


Preferred Experience
  • FPE / PE.
  • NICET II
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering.
  • Proficient in estimating tools such as Bid-Tracer.
  • Experienced in Bluebeam.


Salary Range: $90k-$110k base DOE.
