- Support decision-making by assessing financial implications, making recommendations, and following through with written and verbal presentations to key stakeholders, which may include senior leadership
- Development of commercial dashboards, KPIs, and reporting to track performance across customers and product lines.
- Deliver insights on pricing, sales trends, customer behavior, and market opportunities to inform strategic decisions.
- Involved in analysis to support strategic initiatives such as market sizing, new product development, and new business development.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support forecasting, pipeline analysis, promotional effectiveness, and go-to-market strategy.
- Drive continuous improvement in data quality, governance, and accessibility in partnership with data engineering and IT.
- Build and maintain predictive models to support revenue optimization and customer segmentation.
- Identify and lead opportunities to improve process efficiency within product management, leveraging data analysis and visualization tools for tasks like price optimization, marketing ROI, market sizing, demand forecasting, business dashboards, and inventory management
- Act as a thought partner to commercial leaders, bringing a data-driven lens to business planning and execution.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years in commercial or business analytics, ideally in manufacturing or industrial sectors.
- Strong experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.)
- Proven ability to translate complex data into clear business recommendations.
- Excellent communication skills and experience presenting to senior leadership.
- Strong understanding of sales operations, pricing, and B2B go-to-market models.
- Data analysis (statistics, cost/benefit, scenario, etc.)
- Financial acumen (understanding of financial metrics)
Education:
- A bachelor's degree (BS) is required
- MBA preferred, or equivalent combination of relevant experience and demonstrated expertise
