Pay Range: $95,000 - $115,000 per year

Purpose:
- Valkyrie Enterprises has a need for an Aviation Engineer Analyst who will be a key support to the Government customer.
- Located in San Diego, CA.
Job Description:
- Operate and maintain systems Aviation related equipment and support systems.
- Responsible for directing the Aviation systems process, developing support policies, procedures and systems, and providing implementation guidance.
- Prepares and implements directives to ensure effective support and establishes and enforces standards to ensure that the assigned workforce is properly trained and equipped.
- Develop, initiate, integrate and manage all actions associated with life cycle management of AV systems and equipment.
Qualifications:
- Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent and at least 20 years of related experience.
- Must have at least 3 at sea tours working in an Aviation capacity.
- Must have experience operating and maintaining OP related equipment and support systems.
Desired Qualifications:
- Preferred recent experience (within the last 5 years) operating or maintaining shipboard aviation equipment
- Retired E7/E8, Former US Navy Aviation Boatswain Mate (ABH) or Aviation Fuels (ABF).
- Preferred experience as one of the following:
- An Inspector for the U.S. Navy Board of Inspection and Survey (INSURV);
- Inspector at the Afloat Training Group; or
- TYCOM staff focusing on Pre-INSURV preparations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) preferred.
Security Requirements:
- Must currently hold and be able to maintain a DoD Secret clearance.
Travel Requirements:
- Occasional travel -less than 10%
- If a position requires travel by domestic flight or access to secure federal facilities/military bases, candidate must be able to obtain (by start of position) and maintain appropriate identification credentials, such as REAL ID. Physical Requirements:
- Remaining in a stationary position, often standing, or sitting for prolonged periods.
- Moving about to accomplish tasks or moving from one worksite to another.
- Communicating with others to exchange information.

- Light work that includes moving objects up to 20 pounds.
