Project Manager, VIVA Infrastructure Team
Detailed Job Description:
The client continues to evolve its product portfolio to service the business services community. This includes expanding service delivery to the mid-market and enterprise segments and evolving the voice and messaging products to include services such as - Business Voice Edge or Hosted PBX offerings, Messaging and Unified Communication solutions, and SIP Trunking. In parallel, the team is evolving the voice and messaging architecture to IMS and building web-service APIs and customer and Care portals to support customer self-service options.
The project manager works to define project scope, creates detailed project plans, tracks and reports on critical milestones for design, implementation and sustaining engineering of Company's newest applications and services. Specific areas of focus will be a two long capitol effort to complete proof of concept and evaluation of innovative methods to virtualize various elements of our IMS and Advanced Voice networks. Oversees full life cycle product development across team boundaries to include analysis and planning related to product development, launch and deployment. May act as the interface to third party vendors from a business and engineering perspective with respect to requirements generation for meeting Company goals and with respect to licensable technology. Develops financial and operational objectives. Ensures operational plans are aligned with business objectives. May contribute to functional strategy development. This position will require on-site attendance in Colorado 4 days per week.

- Creates detailed design, technical requirements and service specifications for VIVA platform compute, network, storage and virtualization.
- Builds relationships with QA, Ops and development organizations to ensure smooth and successful delivery of solutions to production
- Participates consultatively in the testing and certification process.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
- Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary.
