E S S E N T I A L F U N C T I O N S
- Develops, maintains, and shares with other Pharmacists, state-of-the-art drug therapy expertise.
- Pharmacokinetic dosing and lab monitoring.
- Antimicrobial Stewardship and Anticoagulation monitoring.
- Medication review/discharge counselling on high risk patients
- Pediatric medication monitoring
- Serve as drug therapy resource for Physicians and Mid-Level Practitioners.
- Review medication orders for appropriateness based on indication, dosage, and patient-specific parameters, and communicate concerns or recommendations to ordering provider.
- Assist with pharmacokinetic monitoring and dosing for selected medications per approved protocols, including ordering labs where indicated.
- Accurately supplies medication to patients.
- Carefully identifies, prevents, and follows up on drug related problems.
- Supervises ancillary pharmacy personnel to optimize their efficiency and productivity.
- Other duties as assigned.
E D U C A T I O N
- Graduation from an accredited school of Pharmacy required.
E X P E R I E N C E
- Three (3) years of previous hospital experience, or residency, preferred
C R E D E N T I A L S
- Must be a Registered Pharmacist in the State of Wyoming, with a current, valid license and be in good standing with the Board of Pharmacy.
- ACLS certified within 6 months.

- Strong mathematical skills.
- Excellent customer service skills, including but not limited to: a friendly personality, tact, patience, empathy and a helpful, professional attitude both in person and on the telephone.
- Ability to effectively communicate with staff, managers, ordering providers and the general public verbally and in writing.
- Demonstrate effective listening skills.
- Excellent organization and time management skills and ability to establish priorities effectively.
- Possess exceptional problem solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively without immediate supervision.
- Ability to learn new computer software programs.
- Ability to recognize and protect confidential information.
- Demonstrate ethical and legal accountability for the position.
