LandSure Systems Ltd. (LandSure) is looking to hire a Business Intelligence Analyst to join our Operations division!

What you'll do:

Reporting to the Director, Process Management & Analytics, the Business Intelligence Analyst is responsible for providing a Business Intelligence function to Operations and supporting business initiatives that involve solving complex operational challenges. Through data driven insights and analytical solutions, the Business Intelligence Analyst will help drive value to LTSA, primarily in the area of operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

  • Designs, develops, and maintains BI reports, dashboards, and visualizations using tools such as Power BI, or Sigma.
  • Collects, cleans, and analyzes large datasets from multiple sources to provide meaningful insights.
  • Works closely with stakeholders to understand business needs and translates them into requirements before working with the data team on data-driven solutions.
  • Works closely with the data team on data pipeline development, bigger reporting changes, and advanced analytics support.
  • Identifies trends, patterns, and anomalies in data to improve operational efficiency and achieve the business strategy.
  • Collaborates with data engineers and IT teams to ensure data integrity and governance.
  • Generates reports and presentations to communicate key findings to leadership and other teams.
  • Understands the business processes and their connection to data, driving governance, documentation, and best practices.
  • Stays up to date with industry trends, BI tools, and best practices to continuously improve analytics capabilities.
  • Supports short and long term operational and strategic business initiatives by developing and enhancing processes.
  • Works closely with and supports business leaders to solve complex business problems, building strong relationships with internal stakeholders to drive collaboration and effective solutions.
  • Conducts thorough internal and external research and analysis of business processes and makes recommendations for potential improvements.
  • Defines and designs projects, initiatives, and processes, taking projects from original concept through to final execution including preparing project plans and tracking all project milestones and deliverables.
  • Facilitates workshops, create process maps and documentation, and assist subject matter experts in the creation of procedure documents and training plans.
  • Coordinate activities to execute change management plans, including the development of stakeholder impact assessments, stakeholder engagement plans and communication plans.
  • Develop and execute project schedules and resource plans.
  • Align projects requirements with business goals and objectives.
  • Assesses project staffing or resourcing needs and obtains resource approvals from project sponsors.
  • Prepares and presents regular status reports to steering committee and/or senior management.
  • Works and support co-ops as needed.


Qualifications

Education and Experience
  • Completed a quantitative degree in a discipline such as engineering, business, commerce, applied math, economics, data science or computer science.
  • 5 to 8 years of progressive experience in an analytical role, processing and analyzing data to develop actionable insights in a complex environment
  • Experience with business analysis, agile methodologies, and organizational change management preferred.
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) certification or equivalent preferred.
  • Prosci change management certification or equivalent preferred.


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Strong knowledge of and experience with data visualization and reporting services (Power BI, Sigma etc.), databases (SQL etc.), and programming (R, Python, SAS etc.).
  • Familiarity with software architecture, related applications, relational databases, web technology and an understanding of machine learning.
  • Experience with various project management and change management methodologies, tools, processes and principles.
  • Understanding of Lean and Six Sigma.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail.
  • A customer-focused attitude with strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
  • Excellent facilitation skills along with the ability to influence and drive consensus in a cross-functional team.
  • A self-starter with the ability to independently balance multiple priorities from inception to completion under pressure and deadlines.
  • An avid learner, committed to keeping up to date with latest technologies and industry innovations.


We are dedicated to transparency in our hiring process. $77,700 - $97,100 annually, reflects a reasonable expectation for pay for the position depending on qualifications and experience. This compensation is specific to the role within our organization and takes into account a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to job-related skills, experience and relevant training or education, business and organizational needs.
