About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented, and experienced financial planner to join our in-house Wealth Planning Team! This person serves as a generalist, creating financial plans, conducting ongoing research, and providing education to advisors. Our Wealth Planning Team makes a meaningful impact on our business by supporting our client advisors in developing customized personal financial solutions for both new and existing clients.

About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented, and experienced financial planner to join our in-house Wealth Planning Team! This person serves as a generalist, creating financial plans, conducting ongoing research, and providing education to advisors. Our Wealth Planning Team makes a meaningful impact on our business by supporting our client advisors in developing customized personal financial solutions for both new and existing clients.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide support to Client Advisor teams and their clients in areas including retirement analysis, Social Security and Medicare planning, education planning, tax projections, charitable planning, insurance needs, executive compensation, stock option analysis, estate planning, and cash flow analysis
- Accurately input data into financial planning software, construct and update financial analyses, and identify planning issues and opportunities
- Develop actionable recommendations to address clients' planning needs
- Compile, input, and monitor CRM workflows related to client financial planning requests
- Support the creation and delivery of internal training programs
- Conduct research and assist in developing client-facing presentations
- Stay informed of and communicate updates on changing laws and regulations related to financial planning, tax, and estate issues
- Perform ad-hoc research around planning questions, such as Social Security, Medicare planning, and retirement planning
- Assist in managing and expanding new and existing relationships with our wealth planning vendors, including RightCapital, Holistiplan and Vanilla
- Manage and continue to expand our Professional Contact referral list to ensure clients receive best-in-class services
Qualifications & Skills:
- 3 to 5 years of experience in wealth management, with a preference for previous experience in a Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) firm
- CFP designation preferred, or a commitment to obtain within 1-2 years
- Bachelor's degree in Financial Planning, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
- Proficiency in tax, investments and estate planning strategies as relates to holistic planning
- Experience with financial planning software (RightCapital, Vanilla, Holistiplan) highly desirable
- Strong project management skills and an enthusiasm for continuous learning
- Excellent professional communication skills and business acumen

- The expected base salary for this position is $85,000 - $100,000 depending on experience and skill set. In addition, the position is eligible for a discretionary bonus based on company and individual performance
