Role Description:

The Marketing Operations Manager plays a critical role in supporting and optimizing all aspects of the marketing function. This role is responsible for developing and executing efficient marketing processes, implementing and managing marketing technology, and analyzing marketing performance to drive measurable results and being an individual contributor by owning Marketo and 6Sense day to day.

Key Responsibilities:

Marketing Technology Stack

  • Manage and optimize marketing automation platforms (e.g., Marketo, 6Sense, etc) including data segmentation, campaign execution, lead scoring, and reporting.
  • Integrate marketing automation platforms with other key marketing and sales tools (e.g., website analytics, advertising platforms).
  • Evaluate and recommend new marketing technologies to improve efficiency and effectiveness.


Marketing Operations & Processes:

  • Develop and document marketing processes and best practices to ensure consistency and efficiency across all marketing channels.
  • Lead marketing data analysis and reporting, providing insights into campaign performance, lead quality, and ROI.
  • Develop and maintain marketing dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Manage lead scoring models and nurture programs to qualify leads and improve conversion rates.
  • Support the execution of marketing campaigns across all channels (e.g., email, social media, paid advertising, and content marketing).


Data Management & Analysis:

  • Ensure data quality and accuracy across all marketing systems.
  • Conduct regular data audits and implement data cleansing procedures.
  • Analyze marketing data to identify trends, identify areas for improvement, and inform future marketing strategies.


Project Management:

  • Manage and execute marketing projects on time and within budget.


Team Leadership and Development:

  • Lead and mentor a team of marketing operations specialists, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Provide guidance and training to ensure team members are up-to-date on best practices and emerging trends in marketing operations.


Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • 8+ years of experience in marketing operations or a related role, with at least 3 years in a leadership position.
  • Experience in SaaS, B2B, or technology industries is highly desirable.


Technical Expertise:

  • Strong knowledge of marketing automation platforms (e.g., Marketo, HubSpot, 6Sence) and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce).
  • Expertise in analytics and reporting tools, such as Google Analytics, Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms.
  • Familiarity with data management practices, including data hygiene, segmentation, and compliance (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).

  • Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.
