This is a full-time, salaried, leadership position based out of our Scripps Mercy campus in Hillcrest. This position will require the flexibility to work Monday-Friday and weekends as needed. This position will be supporting both our Scripps Mercy campuses in Hillcrest and Chula Vista.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Food/Nutrition Science or related field
- 3 years experience in an acute-care, sub-acute or skilled-nursing setting
- Registered Dietitian through the Commission of Dietetic Registration
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, complex problem solving, team development, strategic planning and systems planning/development
- Knowledge of medical/scientific terminology with ability to communicate technical/clinical aspects of department. Understanding of the fundamentals of information systems and knowledge of computer word processing and spread sheets
- Proficiency in Joint Commission, Title XXII, HACCP, Food Code and other applicable regulatory requirements with ability to translate into practice.
- Master's Degree
- Leadership experience
- 5 years of Clinical experience
- Specialty certification (CNSC, CDE, CSR, CSG, Adult Weight Management)
- Member of a least one Professional Organizations, such as the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, American Society of Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition
