The CDSS Community Care Licensing Division is currently accepting applications for a Licensing Program Manager (LPM) for the Central Applications Bureau (CAB).

**The considered reporting office locations will be Sacramento or Oakland.**

Under the supervision of a Licensing Program Manager II (LPM II), the CAB Licensing Program Manager I (LPM I) is responsible for supervising a unit of Licensing Program Analysts (LPA). The LPM I may provide direction to the offices and supervise the unit support staff. The LPM I assigns licensing responsibility to various LPAs, provides direction and technical assistance to the LPA and monitors and evaluates LPA performance. The LPM I reviews staff work to ensure conformity with policies and procedures; holds office meetings with facility applicants, stakeholders, provides

consultation and directions to LPAs; and may occasionally be assigned to lead or participate in special projects or task forces related to changes in organization, regulations, policy, and procedures.

Working Conditions

This is an office-centered position; however, occasional telework may be permitted.

Use of a computer for several hours a day which involves sitting most of the time but may include walking, climbing stairs, or standing for brief periods. Attend meetings, workshops and training associated with job duties. Work hours and schedules may vary. Ability to travel frequently is required.

The considered reporting office location for this position will be either Sacramento or Oakland. The service areas for this position are Sacramento, Oakland, Chico, Santa Rosa, and San Bruno Regional Offices.
