Integrated Polymer Solutions is seeking a Senior Business Systems Analyst to join our team. This role will be responsible for understanding, reviewing and documenting business processes in all functional business areas and aligning those processes to enterprise business applications. Preparing training, testing and validation documentation as part of IT project implementations related to software applications for all IPS companies. Will work with personnel at all levels throughout the organization to streamline operational efficiency and provide end user training as needed.

Summary: The Senior Business Systems Analystwill ensure the implementation of standard business practices, strategic analysis and data metrics to Improve business productivity. This role will work with the IPS IT Application teams to analyze existing business processes and identify areas of opportunity. Develop new strategies for improvements aligned with organizational goals. The role also includes managing IT projects, coordinating initiatives, and providing helpdesk support to address IT-related issues and maintain efficient operations across all IPS US Locations.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Drive the assigned tasks over the finish line.
  • Act as technical lead on the implementation of new enterprise systems, including testing and knowledge transfer amongst other members of the Enterprise Operations Team.
  • Formulating and defining the objectives and scope of business systems.
  • Gathering data and analyzing business and user needs in consultation with both business managers and end users.
  • Provide IT support for regulatory and compliance activities.
  • Assist with helpdesk ticketing by addressing IT-related issues and providing timely resolutions.
  • Help unify usage of internal and external software applications to match approved business processes for operational efficiency and accuracy.
  • Support project management efforts by coordinating initiatives, tracking progress, and ensuring successful project completion.
  • Perform business data analysis and data validation during system implementation and integrations.
  • Help analyze business processes to identify opportunities to add, modify, or eliminate external software where feasible.
  • Making recommendations on software improvements to gain business efficiency.
  • Define procedures and provide regular end user training sessions on best practices of business processes for each enterprise application.
  • Provide end user support for all enterprise applications under the IPS umbrella.
  • Collaborate with the business users to define, test and create financial reports.
  • Support and collaborate with ERP implementations, software upgrades, and business requirements.
  • Contributes process management expertise to develop, maintain and efficiently capture data to streamline reporting, minimize requirements for ad hoc reporting and maximize time for analyses.
  • Willingness to think outside the box, find and suggest process improvements for efficiencies.
  • Drive the execution of strategic initiatives at Integrated Polymer Solutions.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE:
  • Five or more years of related experience and/or training in ERP software in a manufacturing environment
  • Ability to understand and maintain business process, quality, and safety procedures.
  • Ability to speak, understand, read, and write English.
  • Ability to detect problems and provide solutions to appropriate personnel.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex documents.
  • Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or complaints.
  • Strong knowledge of the manufacturing process from raw material to finished goods and cost of sales.
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with the ability to be flexible and organized.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel.
  • Position requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Previous experience and familiarity with major ERP platforms (Epicor and Microsoft Dynamics GP preferred)
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills with high attention to detail.


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Ability to operate a computer and other office equipment regularly.
  • Excellent close and distant vision.
  • Occasionally stand and walk through the workday.

COMPUTER SKILLS:
  • Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook, Vision, Project, PowerPoint.
  • Proficient with ERP Systems, user interfaces.
  • Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and related software
