Job Title: Systems Analyst 3 - Applications/Software Development

Location: Austin, TX 78751 (Onsite Only)
Pay Rate: $82.66/hour
Contract Duration: 05/26/2025 - 08/31/2025
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (excluding State holidays)

About the Role:

We're seeking an experienced Systems Analyst 3 to support our client's IT Data Engineering Team in the design, development, and implementation of a Data Integration Hub. This is a high-impact, on-site opportunity located in Austin, TX where you'll work with a skilled Agile team to deliver key business intelligence solutions.

This role requires a senior-level analyst with strong technical leadership, deep ETL/SQL expertise, and proficiency in technologies such as Informatica, Oracle, Snowflake, and MuleSoft, among others.

Responsibilities Include:
  • Leading agile development teams in planning, design, and implementation of a data integration hub
  • Creating and maintaining complex SQL scripts, views, and materialized views in Oracle
  • Automating ETL workflows using Informatica Power Center/IICS
  • Collaborating on data modeling and design strategies
  • Supporting performance metrics validation, deployment, and integration testing
  • Participating in sprint ceremonies and agile documentation
  • Producing technical documentation and visual diagrams
  • Working closely with architects, developers, and stakeholders
  • Troubleshooting and optimizing data acquisition and integration workflows
  • Ensuring adherence to security protocols, particularly in handling PII/PHI data


Minimum Required Qualifications:
  • 8+ years of experience with:
    • ETL tools: Informatica Power Center/IICS
    • Complex Oracle/Snowflake SQL scripting
    • Acquiring data from sources like Oracle, SQL Server, Excel, Access, Adobe PDF
    • Data analysis, technical writing, and system documentation (Visio, Erwin, MS Office)
    • Java, JavaScript, Python, C#, CI/CD (GitHub Actions)
    • Agile team participation and use of JIRA
    • MuleSoft Development & SAS Viya Administration
    • Software platform design and delivery across org units


Preferred Skills:
  • Ability to write clean, testable, efficient code using best practices
  • Excellent communication and multitasking skills
  • Experience with healthcare data and security standards
  • Familiarity with BI tools, REST/SOAP web services
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Business, or related field
  • Previous experience with HHS or healthcare data systems


Special Considerations:

This position is onsite only and will not accommodate remote or hybrid work. Candidates must be able to work full-time from the Austin, TX location throughout the contract period.
