Description:
NETGEAR IT team is seeking a top-tier candidate for the Senior Business Systems Analyst, Finance, role to lead delivery of our IT applications roadmap for strategic projects. This position will be responsible for supporting all finance IT system needs and managing business systems projects that improve finance processes and align with cross-functional teams for enterprise initiatives. This position is hybrid position in San Jose office.

Key Responsibilities:
- Primary role will include hands-on end-user support for the Oracle R12 e-Business Applications Suite for finance modules.
- Manage and/or drive multiple finance process improvement initiatives and programs, impacting the order to invoice cycle, revenue recognition, procure to pay cycle, inventory accounting, accounts receivable, accounts payable, general accounting, and financial reporting within Oracle Financial and other systems and integrations.
- Work closely with business stakeholders and collaborate directly with leadership within their function to align with their priorities.
- Understand custom extensions related to Revenue Recognition and Intercompany accounting processes and partner with finance team to deliver enhancements as per business process changes.
- Lead NETGEAR's existing implementation of RPA (Robotic Process Automation) for financial processes, look for opportunities to convert processes to RPA, work with RPA development team to design solutions and continue to add automations for new processes/transactions.
- Understand NETGEAR's implementation of Oracle Channel Revenue Management module and play a lead role in all initiatives related to this key business process for our Sales and Finance teams.
- Build strong relationships with internal customers, peers, and business stakeholders
- Coordinate monthly, quarterly and yearly financial close cycle and reporting and provide support to finance and other business teams.
- Partner with Internal Control and Audit function to establish, test and document key application controls and ensure compliance.
- Proactively look for opportunities to enhance and automate financial/business/accounting processes and work with business to prioritize
- Work with business stakeholders to prioritize system improvement initiatives and play the role of solution architect/project lead for multiple such initiatives involving internal IT teams and/or consultants.
- Coordinate with Onsite and Offshore development and support teams to support requirements gathering, documentation and testing
- Manage the configuration and setup of the Oracle and related solutions.
- Track progress of all Finance initiatives and provide periodic status reports
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business /Accounting/Computer Science/Information Systems.
- 7+ years of hand-on implementation experience with Oracle EBS R12 (12.2) Financials modules required.
- 7+ Years of experience in business analysis
- Strong understanding of accounting and general business processes and best practices
- Strong business Analysis and project management skills with experience leading cross-functional teams
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven track record of success in partnering with business team and creating lasting positive IT relationships.
- Ability to successfully establish and maintain relationships with internal customers, and dedication to meeting customer expectations and requirements
- Ability to work cooperatively in team situations and share knowledge freely
- Welcome and Adapt to new challenges and change with enthusiasm
- Negotiation skills to appropriately manage customer expectations regarding scope, schedule, and budgetary parameters
