Position Title: Manager Finance, Financial Planning & Analysis

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and implement annual operating plan and tracks results to plan sales, operating profit, and capital.
  • Prepare annual audit reports as needed.
  • Manage or conduct period close of financial records.
  • Prepare and disseminate financial reports.
  • Responsible for Sales Business Unit's balance sheet accuracy and completeness.
  • Liaison to external auditors.
  • Identify opportunities for reducing cost or improving efficiencies in coordination with operations management.
  • Analyze performance of key business segments to ensure optimal performance throughout the Sales Business Unit.
  • Prepare various ad hoc reports and provide detailed analysis of data as requested by operations management.
  • Ensure financial integrity that includes compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX), Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB), and Generally Accepted Accounting Principals (GAAP).
  • Business partnering with sales and operations.
  • Create and analyze metrics.
  • Perform month end close.
  • Prepare the annual operating budget as well as related analysis to support.
  • Prepare monthly forecasts.
  • Prepare cash flow.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly reporting to support sales/operations.
  • Provide various other ad hoc reports as needed.
  • Perform special projects and analysis.
  • Support and supervise team.
  • Perform other related analytical duties as required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


  • This position has one (1) direct report:

    Sr. Financial Analyst (1)

    MINIMUM EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

    Requires a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a directly related field of study, Certified Public Accountant, Chartered Public Accountant, or other comparable accountant certification from any provincial/regional body, and the following experience:
  • 10 years of progressive work experience with external auditors, including preparing audit work papers;
  • 8 years of progressive finance or accounting experience;
  • 8 years of combined experience to include EACH of the following: leading month-end close, preparing journal entries, and balance sheet reconciliations;
  • 5 years of experience reviewing and developing process and controls as it relates to the job-related duties;
  • 5 years of experience in EACH of the following: Fixed Assets systems, Capital Expenditures, and Depreciation;
  • 4 years of experience developing Strategic Plans;
  • 4 years of experience developing Annual Plans;
  • 4 years of experience working within a multi-national company with global operations;
  • 4 years of experience in SAP;
  • 4 years of experience in Power BI;
  • 3 years of combined experience in managing and leading a team;
  • 3 years of experience utilizing EACH of the following: U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principals (USGAAP), International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), and Sarbane-Oxley (SOX);
  • 3 years of experience in Hyperion;
  • 2 years of experience preparing Cash Flows;
  • 2 years of experience analyzing Cash Flows;
  • 2 years of experience with multiple currencies (Fx) to perform the job-related duties; and
  • 2 years of cash management experience.
    • Experience may be gained concurrently
    • Work from home available 2 days/week. Must reside within commuting distance from employer's Dallas, TX office.
