Amazon's Weblab Application team owns the tools and mechanisms to create and launch experiments at Amazon. We offer experimental guidance for launching, conducting and making product decisions using Weblab to help Amazon build better products for customers. A/B testing is in Amazon's DNA and we're at the core of how Amazon innovates on behalf of customers. Be a part of the newly formed team that helps Amazonians make decisions about their Weblabs. We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer to help us build the future of experimentation systems at Amazon.

A day in the life
We're going to help Amazon make better decisions by empowering analyses for A/B-testing in Weblab systems to help teams make data driven decisions for their experiments. We will help Amazonians make the right decisions for our customers combining science, experimentation and data driven-decision making. Our work will inform some of the biggest decisions at Amazon.
About the team
We have decades of combined experience on the team in many areas of science and engineering so it's a great environment in which to learn and grow. A/B testing is one of the hottest areas of research and development in the world today and this is a chance to learn how it works in the company known for pioneering its use.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language
- Bachelor's Degree
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $129,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $223,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
