About the Role
The Solutions Engineering Manager will play a pivotal role in overseeing end-to-end project management for customer onboarding, ensuring the seamless implementation and optimization of our solutions. As the primary point of contact, you will guide customers through the deployment process while coordinating internal teams to drive successful project execution.Additionally, you will analyze market trends, contribute to customer acquisition through RFPs and industry events, and lead the growth of the U.S. Solutions Engineering team. Strong project management, technical expertise, and leadership skills are key to success in this role.
This is a hybrid position based out of our Back Bay, Boston office, with sporadic travel required to represent the company at industry and recruitment events. Preference for candidates located in the Greater Boston area.

$85,000 - $120,000 a year
The US base salary range for this position at the start of employment is $85,000 to $120,000. Within this range, individual pay is determined by specific US work location, as well as additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, relevant education or training, and internal equity considerations.

About the Role

What You'll Do (Key Responsibilities)
- Oversee end-to-end project management for customer onboarding, ensuring smooth implementation and adoption of our solutions.
- Act as the primary point of contact for customers, guiding them through solution deployment, helping them to achieve business goals with our solution.
- Coordinate cross-functional internal teams to align resources and efforts for successful project execution.
- Provide expert consultation to customers on improving and streamlining their operational processes with Envelio's software.
- Analyze and explore U.S. market trends and customer requirements to enhance product-market fit and strategic growth.
- Utilize your understanding of our client's use cases and market knowledge to identify potential product roadmap implications and serve as an internal advocate for our clients.
- Assist in customer acquisition by contributing to the solutioning process during sales processes, RFPs, participating in industry events, and hosting workshops for prospective customers.
- Build and lead the U.S. Solutions Engineering team, including hiring, managing, and mentoring team members to drive excellence and growth.
What You Bring (Qualifications & Skills)
- Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Electrical Engineering, Energy Systems, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 3-5 years of project management experience, with a proven track record of leading complex projects, managing cross-functional teams, meeting deadlines, and delivering successful outcomes.
- Strong understanding of power systems, grid operations, and energy sector challenges, with experience in energy distribution, transmission, or related fields. Must have strong utility experience - direct utility positions in planning, engineering capacity preferred.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences, including customers, internal teams, and executives.
- Experience in customer onboarding, process consulting, or technical solution deployment, ensuring seamless adoption of solutions and continuous value delivery.
- Strategic problem-solving mindset, with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing customer needs, improving processes, and optimizing solutions.
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to travel occasionally for industry events, customer meetings, and business development opportunities.
