Key Responsibilities
1. Computer Systems & Network Management
- Manage, maintain, and troubleshoot production floor IT systems, infrastructure, and special networks
- Ensure system stability, security, and efficiency for hardware and software supporting production
- Collaborate with corporate IT to align local systems with enterprise policies
2. Production Support & Training
- Provide technical support to manufacturing staff using production-related systems
- Maintain system documentation, user manuals, and technical reference guides
- Train personnel on proper use of software and systems
3. Manufacturing Operations Integration
- Align IT systems with manufacturing goals and operations
- Identify and implement process improvement opportunities through technology integration
- Monitor and support real-time data systems tied to production performance
4. Cybersecurity & Compliance
- Enforce cybersecurity policies and procedures on all production-facing systems
- Coordinate with IT to implement cybersecurity safeguards and manage access control
5. Project Management
- Lead and support projects involving system upgrades, migrations, and implementations
- Work with vendors, contractors, and internal teams to deliver projects on time and within scope
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment with a focus on IT systems and infrastructure
Technical Skills
- Strong understanding of Windows and Linux operating systems
- Familiar with network protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP
- Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and implementation
- Hands-on experience with troubleshooting complex system issues
