Job Responsibilities:
- Provide end-to-end network engineering support across all network segments and applications.
- Design and optimize network performance, ensuring scalability and security.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to expand connectivity and maintain network integrity.
- Monitor and maintain critical network components: routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPNs, wireless systems, DNS, and email systems.
- Ensure high system availability through proactive monitoring, performance tuning, and scheduled maintenance.
- Assist in diagnosing and coordinating hardware break/fix scenarios.
- Identify and manage security risks; perform assessments, penetration testing, and develop mitigation plans.
- Support the design, development, and maintenance of secure and scalable network infrastructure.
Required Skills:
- Strong understanding of network design, performance optimization, and system integration.
- Hands-on experience with network hardware and technologies including routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and load balancers.
- Experience in performance monitoring tools and alert systems.
- Knowledge of security best practices and threat mitigation strategies.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with enterprise wireless, DNS, email systems, and intrusion prevention systems.
- Familiarity with network automation tools and scripting.
- Exposure to hybrid cloud network environments.
- Advanced certifications (e.g., CCNP, CISSP, AWS Certified Advanced Networking) are a plus.
