Our Critical Care team has an opportunity for a Board-Certified Critical Care physician to work occasional shifts at our practice at Mercy Medical Center in Springfield, Mass.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Provides criticalcare services at Acute Care sites. Responsible for history and physical examsfor patients admitted to the Intensive Care Unit. Rounds on assigned criticalcare patients. Compliant with all facility and Adfinitas quality initiatives. Partners with and oversees Advanced PracticeProviders ("APPs"). Lead Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) codes and Rapid ResponseTeam evaluations.

REQUIREMENTS
- BE/BC in Internal Medicine and Critical Care Medicine
- Strong critical care skill set
- Manage ventilators
- Complete central lines
- Perform intubations
- Quality-focused team player
- Experience working with advanced practice providers
- Excellent organizational, time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to function effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Commitment to providing exceptional patient care
- Active (state) license, American Heart Association CPR Certification, DEA License, state Controlled Substance Registration
