POSITION SUMMARY:
Sheer Logistics is seeking an experienced and results-driven Manager to lead our Account Management team in driving revenue growth through retention and expansion within our existing customers, providing account management support to new customer acquisisions, and delivering exceptional customer experiences. The ideal candidate will possess a strong account managment background, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to motivate and manage a high-performing team of account managers and operations reps who service our customers through the execution of our portfolio of logistics solutions.

Compensation Details:
The qualified individual can expect competitive annual salary and variable bonus.
RANGE: $80,000 TO $125,000 plus 20% Variable
Work Location: Sheer's Chicago or Atlanta office.
Working Conditions and Physical Demands:
Sedentary inside office work with limited exposure to weather conditions. Limited travel as needed.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Team Leadership:
- Lead, develop, and manage a team of account managers and operations representatives to achieve sales targets and exceed customer expectations.
- Provide coaching, guidance, and support to ensure team members have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the customer sales, account management, and operations teams.
- Sales Strategy and Planning:
- Develop and implement account management strategies to drive retention, growth, and the enhancement of our account management program.
- Set and achieve sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs) for the team.
- Analyze data, market trends, and customer feedback to inform sales strategies and optimize performance.
- Customer Engagement:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to drive retention and upsell/cross-sell opportunities.
- Ensure seamless onboarding and customer support to ensure high customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Performance Management and Development:
- Conduct regular performance reviews, provide feedback, and set goals for team members.
- Develop and implement training programs to enhance sales skills, product knowledge, and industry trends.
- Identify areas for improvement and implement process changes to optimize sales performance.
- Reporting and Analysis:
- Provide regular reports, forecasts, and analysis to stakeholders, including account performance, retention, and growth metrics.
- Identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to address performance gaps.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align account management strategies with business objectives.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 2+ years of management experience, with a proven track record of driving team performance, retention, and growth.
- 5+ Years of account management experience within logistics.
- Proven success managing the operational execution of logistics solutions and working in a fast paced environment.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and ABILITIES
- Strong leadership, account management experience, emotional intelligence, and communication skills
- Solid industry knowledge including customer needs and competitive landscape
- Ability to analyze sales data, market trends, and customer feedback to inform account management strategies.
- Experience with logistics execution software, performance management tools, and MS Office software.
- Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and time management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.
