Under the guidance of the Environmental Health and Safety Manager, as our EH&S Industrial Hygienist you will use your knowledge to evaluate hazards and develop controls to protect worker health while implementing programs to reduce exposure. You will be performing testing and appropriate analysis using designated testing equipment so you will need to know OSHA safety rules and guidelines to handle situations associated with air quality, chemicals, and substances.
Hours: Mon - Fri 8:00 am - 4:30 pm

Responsibilities
Conduct exposure assessments to determine if workers are at risk. Recommend ways to control or eliminate exposure to hazardous materials. Design and implement industrial hygiene programs. Train workers to protect themselves from exposure to hazards Record data and compile it into statistical analyses and reports to share with upper management.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Health, Industrial Hygiene, or related field. Certification as a Certified Industrial Hygienist is desired. Minimum 3 years' experience in industrial hygiene or occupational health and safety. In-depth knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements, such as OSHA standards, EPA regulations, and local safety and health laws. Strong understanding of risk assessment techniques and experience in developing risk mitigation strategies.
Compensation: $35.05-$52.60 per hour

Compensation: $35.05-$52.60 per hour
