Candidate will become a member of the team responsible for the development, testing and support of PON, NGDLC and DSLAM products.

Essential Job Responsibilities

  • FPGA design and testing.
  • Board level design and testing
  • Creating product Bill Of Materials
  • Generating schematics and assembly drawings
  • Working with manufacturers on Design For Manufacturing
  • Developing test cases, supporting system test and performing tests
  • Creating engineering documentations (design, test, etc.)
  • Support resolution of product issues working with customer support and system test teams.

Required Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering


Required Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years of hardware experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of FPGA development experience
  • Proficient with FPGA development tools
  • Proficient with board design tools (e.g., Mentor Graphics), circuit simulation tools and timing analysis tools (e.g., TimingDesigner)
  • Ability to create and implement test plans using oscilloscopes and logic analyzers


Preferred Experience

  • Mentor Graphics Expedition xDX Designer
  • Verilog
  • ModelSim SE for Verilog simulation
  • Altera QuartusII, Quartus Prime and SignalTapII tools for modeling, simulation, implementation and verification
  • Xilinx ISE and Vivado and Integrated Logic Analyzer/ChipScope tools for modeling, simulation, implementation and verification
  • Lattice Diamond for modeling, simulation, implementation and verification
  • IBM Rational ClearCase for Verilog source control
  • Telecom experience with both digital and analog design exposure
  • Experience developing products for major network operators with focus on the access network
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-motivated, capable of driving projects to completion with minimum supervision
