Hiring Range : Salary- $91,124.80- $118,476.80

The actual compensation for this position will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.

Responsibilities:
Curriculum and Content Development: Ensure that educational content is evidence-based, relevant, and aligned with current best practices. Develop and maintain educational resources, including online modules, presentations, and other materials.
Evaluation and Improvement: Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of educational programs and training initiatives. Identify areas for improvement and make recommendations for program enhancements.
Compliance and Quality Assurance: Ensure that all educational programs comply with relevant regulations, accreditation standards, and organizational policies. Stay current on changes in healthcare regulations and best practices.
Leadership and Management: Supervise and mentor education staff, including trainers and educators. Manage budgets and resources for educational programs.
Regulatory Compliance and Safety: Ensures that care is provided that is consistent with standards of ANA, Pathway of Excellence, and Joint Commission. Ensures consistency in standard of care provided across programs/departments. Assures that departmental operations and policies meet hospital safety policies for equipment, management, life safety, infection control and emergency preparedness. Assures on-going training for staff on proper handling, use, storage and labeling of all supplies and equipment and safe patient handling.
Clinical Care and Outcomes: Ensures nursing care reflects current professional standards and best practice. Develops clinical care objectives and measurements for provision of care specific to Pathway of Excellence criteria and Nursing Education.
Leadership: Attends and actively participates in department and hospital-wide committee meetings and activities, seeking opportunities to provide leadership within areas of expertise. Ensures departmental compliance with applicable federal, state, and local regulatory and accrediting agencies

Education:

Education: Graduate of a nursing education program registered by NYSED as license qualifying for RN BLS Provider obtained within three (3) Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date. RN credentialed from the New York Board of Nursing obtained prior to date of hire or job transfer.

Experience: Three (3) years RN experience required One (1) year leadership required

Certifications / Licensure: Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in NYS. National certification preferred.

* Valid NYS driver's license required.
