SUMMARY
Provides support for the development, implementation, and administration of assigned Chemistry programs. Provides chemistry related technical support for the operation, maintenance, testing, and modification of assigned systems. Carries out assignments requiring the development of new or improved techniques and procedures, resulting in the development of new refined equipment, materials, processes, products, and/or scientific methods. Manages the interface with other departments and regulatory agencies by leading meetings and discussions to provide specific information and analysis to questions/problems. Own, develop and advocate your assigned chemist area (Primary, Secondary, Aux, Fuel Oil, Lube Oil) to include all communications, problem solving/resolution, and program enhancements as directed by Chemistry Manager.

Accept ERO position and be able to meet the response requirements.
Ability to obtain and maintain unescorted access if needed.
Successfully complete General Employee Training (GET) as required for position.
ENVIROMENTAL & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Environmental & Physical requirements require the ability to don appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for the defined role; ascending, descending, traversing ladders, scaffolds, stairs; working in confined spaces; moving safely over uneven or slippery terrain; working in proximity to loud equipment and possible inclement weather/temperature conditions.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Overtime and alternate work schedules as needed.
Subject to callouts twenty-four hours per day seven days per week.
Travel may be required.
Some plant tours and the hazards associated with each.
WORK LOCATION
Due to the nature of the work, this position requires work to be performed in the field and/or at the worksite.
