Job Description

Allied Universal is hiring a Senior Vice President, IT Services. The Senior Vice President (SVP) of IT Services will lead our North America IT services, offshore teams, architecture, infrastructure, and operations. The SVP will be responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and management of scalable Technology services. This role requires extensive experience in leading IT Service Management (ITSM), leveraging diverse teams both onshore and offshore, and leading managed services. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in ITSM, technical skills, continuous improvement, and building and leading teams through Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and metrics. This individual will possess strong leadership, business partnership and communications skills.

The SVP of IT Services will be located at our corporate headquarters in Irvine, CA, and report dirctly to our North America Chief Information Officer.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Provide visionary leadership for global IT infrastructure, services, and operations, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic goals
  • Develop and implement robust strategies for scalable IT architecture and cloud technology solutions
  • Manage and lead large, diverse teams across multiple geographies, including onshore and offshore locations
  • Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the IT organization
  • Oversee the successful transition and management of IT operations to offshore teams, ensuring seamless integration and performance
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system performance, reliability, and security
  • Implement and manage an ITSM framework to ensure the efficient delivery of IT services
  • Develop and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the effectiveness and efficiency of IT operations
  • Act as a coach and mentor, investing in the professional growth and career development of team members
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business objectives and ensure the efficient delivery of IT services.
  • Establish and maintain strong vendor relationships to support services, infrastructure and operational needs.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Adhere to and support Cyber Security policies and procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS (MUST HAVE):
  • Must possess one of the following:
    • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field
    • Associate's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field with a minimum of seventeen (17) years of progressive leadership experience in IT infrastructure, services, and operations
    • High school diploma or equivalent with a minimum of twenty (20) years of progressive leadership experience in IT infrastructure, services, and operations
  • Minimum of fifteen (15) years of progressive leadership experience in IT infrastructure, services, and operations
  • Excellent strategic planning, organizational, and decision-making skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels
  • Demonstrated ability to manage large budgets and complex projects
  • Proven track record of successfully leading and managing both onshore and offshore teams
  • Extensive experience in transitioning IT operations to offshore environments
  • Strong background in cloud technologies and building scalable IT solutions and architectures
  • Demonstrated expertise in ITSM and ITIL process improvement methodologies
  • Experience leading Infrastructure, Services and Operations through acquisitions and system integrations
  • Experience in developing, tracking, and analyzing KPIs and metrics

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (NICE TO HAVE):
  • Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field
  • One or more of the following:
    • IT Service Management certifications (e.g., ITIL 4 Managing Professional (MP))
    • IT Governance certifications (COBIT 2019 Foundation, Certified in the Governance of Enterprise IT (CGEIT))
    • Enterprise Architecture certifications (e.g., TOGAF 9 Certified, Certified Enterprise Architect (CEA))
    • Certifications in cloud technologies (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect)
    • Security certifications (e.g., Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP))
    • Data and Analytics certifications (e.g., Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP), Google Data Engineer Certification, Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate)
    • Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices
    • Experience in a fast-paced, high-growth environment

BENEFITS:
  • Pay: $200,000 - $250,000 base plus annual bonus eligibility

  • Eight paid holidays annually, five sick days, and four personal days
  • Vacation time offered at an accrual rate of 3.08 hours biweekly. Unused vacation is only paid out where required by law.
