Director, Data Scientist F/T
Overview
Plan and direct data science / machine learning projects within the team.
Role
Lead, mentor and grow data science teams focused on developing production-grade services and capabilities.
Direct teams to design and implement machine learning models for several financial applications.
Scale strategies and solutions to work at a national and global level.
Own the overall data science strategy, team, and outcomes of all projects.
Work with senior management in communicating data science values and impact assessments.
Work with product leaders and clients to enable market facing solutions using data science.
Remove barriers for your team and create interoperability solutions with other teams across the organization.
Assist with talent acquisition efforts and initiatives, facilitate training programs, and conduct performance management for team of direct reports.
Supervise a team of seven including- Lead Data Scientist (1), Senior Data Scientist (4), Data Scientist II (2).
About You
Position requires a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Data Science, Econometrics, Mathematics, Statistics or related and ten (10) years of experience in job offered, Data Engineer, Technical Architect, Artificial Intelligence Specialist, Data Analyst, or related.
Qualifying experience must include at least ten (10) years with each of the following: Statistical modeling; Advanced data science techniques/methods; Natural Language Processing; SQL / Database.
Rate of pay: $196,838 - $264,000 / year.
