Job Description
Description of Job Duties/Responsibilities):
The job duties of the Sr. System Administrator are as follows:
Plans, designs, and implements infrastructure changes and system upgrades.
Manages and troubleshoots multiple VMware environments.
Provides Windows Server and Linux administration, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
Creates STIG compliant images for Windows Desktop, Windows Server, and Linux OS.
Creates, tests, and deploys software packages using software deployment products such as SCCM, PDQ, etc.
Provides expert level support and mentoring for Mid and Junior System Administrator personnel.
Develops and maintains installation and configuration procedures for system and software changes.
Utilizes scripting to automate common tasks.
Performs hardware maintenance/repair activities.
Ensures proper planning and execution of major projects/maintenance activities.
Provides advanced level administration and troubleshooting of Active Directory, GPO, DNS, DHCP, and
Domain Controllers.

Job Requirements
Required Qualifications:
Ability to write scripts using PowerShell and/or Bash.
Experience managing VMware, Nutanix, and other types of enterprise level Virtual Infrastructures.
Proficient in managing and troubleshooting Active Directory and Group Policy Object (GPO).
At least 8 years of relevant experience.
Must presently be 8570 compliant (IAT Level 2 preferred); must be 8570 compliant (IAT Level 2) by date of security indoctrination with any necessary continuing education (CE) for certification.
Desired Qualifications
Linux OS (CentOS, RHEL) administration.
Satellite server administration.
Ansible playbook writing.
Implementing STIGs.
Experience supporting a software configuration management and development environment.
