The primary responsibility of the Director, Product Marketing is to oversee the day-to-day operations of the Product Marketing team, ensuring effective communication of Virtuoso's products and services to advisors, partners, consumers, and global staff. This role involves creating impactful marketing and sales enablement material that highlight product features and value proposition as well as developing strategic marketing tools and campaigns to attract new prospects and customers. Ensure that the product marketing strategies are aligned with the overall vision and goals set by the VP, Product Marketing & Strategy. This includes translating high-level strategies into actionable plans for the team.
Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Lead and manage Product Marketing team providing guidance and support to direct reports. Assist the VP in determining the best allocation of resources, including budget, personnel, and technology, to achieve marketing objectives. Collaborate with Product Leads in the inception and development of new products; work in tandem to develop comprehensive marketing plans that showcase product deliverables. Provide strategic insight and direction for communication to members, partners and prospects. Serve as a Brand Steward contributing to the evolution of the Virtuoso brand. Gather and analyze competitive market information. Responsible for development of comprehensive marketing plans for Virtuoso products and services. Work closely with product development team to determine profitable course for each existing and new product. Help drive demand for our products with creative and innovative marketing campaigns. Provide oversight and direction for development of compelling messages across marketing channels (landing pages, campaigns, promotions). Project manage the design and approval process for marketing materials and product collateral for print, email, web, events, awards, social media, and video. Work with the VP to identify and address team development needs, ensuring the marketing team has the skills and capabilities required to meet current and future demands. Lead or contribute to special projects and initiatives as directed by the VP, ensuring these projects align with the overall strategic goals of the organization. Utilize data and analytics to regularly report on the performance of marketing initiatives, providing insights and recommendations to the VP to inform strategic decisions

Educational and Skills Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or related field
- 7-10 years' related experience
- Proven track record of a leadership style reflecting the following:
- Effective communication, ability to articulate a clear vision and communicate it effectively to team.
- Ability and desire to establish strong relationships based on trust and mutual respect.
- Skill in fostering a shared vision, creating a sense of purpose and direction that inspires others to work towards a common goal.
- Experience in Marketing role within a matrixed organization
- Experience managing a team of direct reports
- Product Marketing Experience preferred
- Travel industry experience considered a plus, not required
- Related experience in the travel industry considered a plus
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Adobe Creative Suite a plus
- Excellent grammar, punctuation and spelling skills

Travel Requirements:
- Infrequent travel may be required to attend company events (1-3 trips per year).
- Travel will be primarily domestic but may include some international.

- Internal: Key job contacts are with managers and director level staff outside of the role's immediate work unit/department.
- External: Frequent regular contact with member advisors, travel suppliers, marketing partners, and contractors.
