Primary Duties & Responsibilities
Design and create processes and solutions for the effective use of the ERP/MRP (Enterprise Resource Planning / Materials Resource Planning) software between the cross-functional departments to ensure smooth flow of requirements from sales to planning, purchasing, receiving, inspection, scheduling and shipping.
Design and create processes and solutions to analyze and filter data from the databases using tables, queries, forms, macros, and reports for planning, measuring, and monitoring operations to support the cross-functional departments: Management, Accounting, Marketing, Customer Service, Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing, Production Control, Inventory Control, Purchasing, Receiving and Shipping.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities
Design and create processes and solutions for the effective use of the ERP/MRP (Enterprise Resource Planning / Materials Resource Planning) software between the cross-functional departments to ensure smooth flow of requirements from sales to planning, purchasing, receiving, inspection, scheduling and shipping.
Design and create processes and solutions to analyze and filter data from the databases using tables, queries, forms, macros, and reports for planning, measuring, and monitoring operations to support the cross-functional departments: Management, Accounting, Marketing, Customer Service, Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing, Production Control, Inventory Control, Purchasing, Receiving and Shipping.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent training/experience.
- 5+ years of software development experience in a manufacturing environment interfacing with ERP/MRP software (current systems preferred) utilizing standard testing and deployment methodologies
- 5+ years' experience with database design, integration, data collection, and report writing
- Experience with problem analysis and resolution
- Experience with networked PC based computer system (MS Office, spreadsheets, access, graphics, Email, MRP systems, and accounting software)
- Development experience with VB6 and Visual Studio .NET (VB and C#)
- Configuration, management, and development experience with the Camstar Insite Manufacturing Execution System
- Development experience (database design, queries, stored procedures, SSIS) with current versions of SQL Server
- Development and management experience with SQL Server Reporting Services
- Development and management experience with SharePoint Foundations
- Development of applications which interface with hardware devices through GPIB, serial, USB, and Ethernet a plus
- Experience with LabView and MatLab a plus

Working Conditions
- In office position. Work will be completed between two separate buildings and moving between the two areas will be required. The builds are close to one another and travel can be by foot or by car (approx. mile). Work will be completed in traditional office areas, manufacturing, cleanroom and logistics spaces.
