Overview
We are currently seeking a Department Head who can coordinate internal resources and sub-contractors for the successful execution of projects for the C2 Automation and Test. Needs to have a solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in Test and Evaluation, System Development and/or System Engineering of communication and/or combat systems.

Travel: Ability to travel domestically and internationally by automobile or air on a frequent basis.
Minimum Education Requirements:
Required Certifications: Desired PMP Certification
Pay Range: $110,000.00 to $150,000.00 annually, DOE
U.S. Citizenship is required
Security Clearance:
Candidates must have an active clearance OR the ability to obtain a US Government security clearance, and will be subject to a US security background investigation (i.e. favorable background investigation / credit score). Additional eligibility requirements for access to various levels of classified information may also be required. An active security clearance is highly desirable.

Responsibilities
Essential Functions/Job Duties:
- Development and/or System Engineering of communication and/or combat systems with knowledge of the associated DoD policies, procedures and processes required for proper implementation of project plans and milestones.
- Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility and execution realism.
- Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate techniques.
- Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation to include detailed project plans to monitor and track progress of assigned projects.
- Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques and communicate/report project status and needs to management and associated clients.
- Successfully manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders of assigned projects.
- Execute management functions across various clients and funding vehicles as required/assigned by management.
- Develop existing staff capabilities, perform hiring and staff management functions in accordance with company policies.
- Provide guidance to team members and monitor their performance, discipline and attendance on regular basis.
Verbal Communications:
- Ability to concisely articulate situations, needs and requirements with management, assigned staff and customers.
- Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
Written Communications:
- Clear translation of thoughts into technical reports. plans and correspondences in methods acceptable to industry standards.
- Solid organizational skills including attention to detail when formulating written products/ correspondence.
Qualifications
Skills / Qualifications:
Five plus (5+) years of relevant experience with any of the following:
- DoD Test and Evaluation
- DoD Program Acquisition and Management
- DoD Software Development

- Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills.
- Develop processes and plans for staff technical and professional capabilities growth.
- Assign project leads and work with subordinates to formulate team composition to ensure successful service delivery.
Work Schedule:
- 9/80
- Must have ability to work within company and customer schedule requirements which may vary depending on criticality and necessity of a given task.
Travel: Ability to travel domestically and internationally by automobile or air on a frequent basis.
Minimum Education Requirements:
- High School diploma or GED.
- BS Information Systems, Information Technology desired or equivalent experience
