Description: The Senior Network Engineer will serve as a network engineer interfacing with government clients, helping to shape their IT, networking, communication, and infrastructure. Provide direct, hands-on network engineering expertise to help design, install, and maintain various network architectures. Troubleshoot and resolve highly technical core service outages and other complex IT system issues.
Network Engineer Job Duties:
Security Clearance Requirements: Active Top Secret (TS) required. Candidates must already possess this clearance level upon applying.
Experience Requirements: Minimum years cloud networking, including network design, testing, development, and integration, AWS implementations on DevOps side.
Education Requirements: Minimum bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited institution in information security, cybersecurity, computer engineering, computer science, or closely related technical field; or the equivalent combination of experience and training related to task scope and objectives.
Desired Skills / Qualifications: Strong communication skills to interface with internal and external customers; understanding of Linux or other UNIX-type operating systems and Jira.
Location: Remote, local to Fairmont, WV preferred.
Status: Full time
Schedule: Day shift, Monday-Friday
Physical Requirements: Must be able to remain in a stationary position for long durations of time. Also, must be able to continuously operate a computer and other office productivity machinery.

Network Engineer Job Duties:
- Serve as a engineer interfacing with government clients, helping to shape their IT, networking, communication, and infrastructure
- Provide direct, hands-on network engineering expertise to help design, install, and maintain various network architectures
- Troubleshoot and resolve highly technical core service outages and other complex IT system issues
- Test and evaluate network systems to eliminate problems and improve client core enterprise services in support of users
- Create and manage infrastructure using AWS components such as WAF, Route 53, Certificate Manager, DNS, etc.
- Hands-on experience to configure and build cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IAC) tools like TerraForm, Ansible, Helm.
- Work effectively with stakeholders, including program and project managers, end users, and technical staff to develop, test, implement, and sustain critical IT infrastructure and security architectures, such as Cloud computing and networked systems
- Knowledge of industry best practices for designing, implementing, and maintaining network security and service availability throughout the system life cycle
