The Tax Senior Manager is responsible for leading the strategic direction and execution of tax compliance, planning, and advisory functions across the organization. This role ensures compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations while driving the development of tax-efficient strategies that support overall business objectives. Acting as a key advisor to senior leadership, the Tax Senior Manager plays an integral role in shaping the company's tax position and supporting long-term financial goals.
This position involves managing a team of tax professionals, fostering their development, and collaborating across departments to maintain high standards of accuracy, efficiency, and regulatory compliance in all tax-related operations.

- Lead and oversee the preparation, review, and timely submission of complex federal, state, and local tax returns, extensions, and declarations.
- Develop and execute comprehensive tax planning strategies to minimize liabilities and align with business goals.
- Analyze and communicate tax implications of corporate initiatives and business transactions to executive leadership.
- Ensure compliance with evolving tax regulations and proactively adjust internal processes as necessary.
- Conduct technical research and present findings to internal stakeholders, supporting sound decision-making.
- Manage quarterly and annual tax provisions, including review of estimated tax calculations and fixed asset reporting.
- Evaluate and approve fixed asset rollforwards and related tax treatment methodologies.
- Own and enhance tax policies, internal controls, and documentation processes.
- Participate in departmental budgeting, strategic initiatives, and continuous process improvement.
- Act as the primary contact for external auditors and tax authorities on complex issues and audits.

Required Education and Experience
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of progressive tax experience, including public accounting and/or corporate tax leadership.
- CPA or Enrolled Agent certification required.
- Proven leadership experience with a strong track record of managing and developing teams.
