  • This job is a member of the Financial Planning & Analysis group within our Finance Division.
  • The Manager, Financial Analysis will lead a team of analysts responsible for a portfolio of strategic projects and financial analyses, as well as evaluating industry trends and competitive results.


What you'll do

  • Leads and develops a team of analysts responsible for strategic financial analysis in support of various business units, as well as a variety of industry benchmarking reports and analysis
  • Develops relationships with internal finance, commercial and operational stakeholders and provides financial perspective and analysis to support strategic decisions across business units
  • Maintains a comprehensive database of industry financial results, and deliver competitive insights that assist management in developing or altering strategic and financial objectives
  • Develops thorough knowledge of company, industry, competitors, and broader market dynamics that may define the current landscape, influence future decisions or create business opportunities
  • Identifies and pursues opportunities to create value for the company through project leadership and well-grounded analytical insights
  • Develops and reviews analytical models to quantify financial impacts of various strategic projects and initiatives
  • Creates executive and Board level presentation materials providing thorough assessment of opportunities, risks, benefits, alternatives, and justification for corporate projects
  • Collaboratively assigns, or delegates responsibility for, specified project work or functional activities


All you'll need for success

Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in relevant field or equivalent experience/training
  • At least 4 years of prior work experience in finance and/or accounting roles or equivalent experience/training
  • Previous strategic financiala nalysis experience creating or working on complex models

Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
  • Masters of Business Administration, or other similarly related advanced degree
  • Prior managerial experience
  • Broad undersanding of the airline industry with experience in Commerical, Operations, and/or Finance

Skills, Licenses & Certifications
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office to include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
  • Passion for innovation, speed to market, and team-based solution development
  • Demonstrated ability to work with the leadership team to identify, plan, and execute strategic initiatives
  • Demonstrated ability to be highly collaborative, form consensus, build relationships, and work productively with a broad range of experienced professionals throughout the company
  • Demonstrated ability to assess opportunities, structure solutions, and effectively execute project plans to meet corporate goals
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage multiple large scale projects on an ongoing basis and adjust priorities, as necessary, to meet shifting deadlines in a dynamic work environment
  • Ability to influence and drive success by asking meaningful questions, challenging the status quo, and modeling teamwork and effective collaboration
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, changing, and complex environment
