Amazon's Global Logistics team is seeking an experienced Senior Program Manager to join our Amazon Customer Excellence System (ACES). This role will focus on enhancing our expanding global supply chain operations. The Global Logistics Imports team optimizes speed and cost, ensuring efficient freight movement from global manufacturing hubs across borders into Amazon's international marketplaces for FBA sellers and retail direct import vendors. Through partnerships with premium logistics providers and internal Amazon supply chain solutions, we enhance selection and reduce costs for our customers.
Key job responsibilities
- Lead operational process improvements using Lean/Six Sigma methodologies
- Develop and implement scalable, sustainable solutions to eliminate waste and reduce variation
- Create and analyze value stream maps, conducting gap analysis between processes and systems
- Drive standardization and documentation of core process elements to support network growth
- Perform deep dive data analysis using SQL and Excel to identify improvement opportunities
- Partner with cross-functional teams to execute program launches and milestone achievements
- Design and implement systems, metrics, and programs that drive continuous improvement
- Coach and drive standard work implementation with 3P carriers and internal Amazon teams
- Travel up to 20% as required
A day in the life
As an ACES Senior Program Manager, you'll start your day reviewing key performance metrics and identifying areas for improvement. You might lead a morning standup with cross-functional teams to address operational challenges, then spend time analyzing data using SQL and QuickSight to identify process optimization opportunities. Your afternoon could include facilitating a Kaizen event, collaborating with stakeholders on improvement initiatives, or developing new standard work procedures. You'll regularly interact with senior leadership to present findings and improvement recommendations.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, engineering, finance or related technical or quantitative field
- 5+ years of program or project management experience
- Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams
- Knowledge of Excel at an intermediate level (e.g., pivot tables & charts, multiple criteria lookups, nested logical/IF formulas, data cleansing, array formulas, etc.)
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Master's degree
- Experience in complex problem solving, and working in a tight schedule environment
- 2+ years of experience applying Lean/Six Sigma methodologies in process improvement initiatives
- Knowledge of SQL
- Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization and driving change

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $104,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
