The successful candidate will have Serve as the lead Integration Support Engineer for the SOF Mission Command (SOFMC) program within USSOCOM's Global Mission Support Center (GMSC). This is a high-impact role ideal for someone with deep expertise in Tactical Data Links (TDLs), Joint Fires Networks (JFN), and systems like GCCS and Link-16.
In this role, you'll act as a technical advisor to vendors, guiding system integration efforts to ensure interoperability, data accuracy, and operational effectiveness. You'll be at the forefront of shaping how new and emerging tactical applications connect and communicate across SOF networks. Your insight will not only help vendors build smarter solutions but also protect the government from unnecessary costs and technical risk.

Required Skills/Responsibilities:
- Must be a US Citizen
- Active TS clearance and SCI eligibility; be able to securely handle / safeguard classified information
- BS degree; Degree can be substituted for extensive operational experience
- Eight+ years relevant work experience
- Serve as SOFMC's integration support engineer for tactical data links, Joint Fires Networks (JFN), Global Command and Control Systems (GCCS), and other emerging Tactical Data Networks (TDNs) such as SEME and MME.
- Provide technical advisory support to SOFMC vendors during integration events to guide development efforts and ensure alignment with operational requirements.
- Analyze and advise on data formatting, translation mechanisms, and implementation strategies for integrating key data sets into and out of SOFMC system applications.
- Lead and participate in technical exchange meetings (TEMs) with system vendors to communicate integration requirements and ensure accurate, secure implementation of data connections.
- Act as the central SME on integration practices, managing and documenting knowledge (in Confluence or similar platforms) related to the integration of external systems and applications with SOFMC.
- Support the development of Information Exchange Requirements (IERs) and oversee their implementation across multi-vendor, multi-domain environments.
- Serve as a technical gatekeeper ensuring oversight into data reliability, provenance, and level-of-effort (LOE) assessments for network integrations to prevent vendor lock-in and cost inflation.
- Enable greater autonomy for the SOFMC program office in evaluating vendor performance and integration quality through established technical baselines and robust requirements management practices.
- Maintain and apply a deep understanding of tactical data networks, link protocols (e.g., Link-16, MADL, TTNT), and associated architectures in support of U.S. and partner nation operations.
Desired Skills:
- JICO certification (Completion of JT-101 Introduction of Joint Multi-TDL (MTN) Operations Course, JT-102 Multi-TDL Advance Joint Interoperability (MAJIC) course, JT-201 Multi-TDL Planners Course, and JT-301 CAPSTONE - JICO)
- Familiarity with Combined Joint All-Domain Command and Control (CJADC2) strategy
- Experience working with Geographic Combatant Commands
- Experience working and coordinating with foreign partner nations
- Experience with high-level military staff briefings and action items
- Highly experienced with Microsoft Office O365 products; excellent writing / briefing skills
- Ability to support a dynamic, fast-paced work environment
