Role Overview
As our Account Director, you'll be a strategic lead on your clients and brands, acting as a trusted partner to our clients. You'll address client needs, immerse yourself in their brands, and make strategic and tactical recommendations to help the client's business thrive. Account Directors put the framework in place to drive results for campaigns - from briefing copywriters and designers, managing budgets and timing to optimize each program and ensure smooth production roll out and executional excellence.
You'll lead with confidence, overseeing a collaborative, cross-functional team while mentoring them to reach their full potential. We're looking for someone who's not only strong at building client relationships but also a hands-on leader who can lead and help execute initiatives, juggle priorities, manage budgets and ensure smooth campaign execution. Your role will be pivotal in guiding clients through the complexities of integrated marketing and delivering breakthrough ideas and strong design articulations. You'll shape the work, the partnership, and the team, all while driving strategic growth and delivering measurable impact.
In addition, Account Directors are responsible for delivering on and surpassing client expectations, profitability, organic growth and take an active part in new business development. This is an opportunity to step into a pivotal leadership role where you'll be a trusted advisor, providing strategic counsel across the communications and marketing spectrum. You'll have the autonomy to shape client relationships with our Group Director and deliver impactful results, working with a dynamic and collaborative team.

Responsibilities
What You'll Do
As Account Director, you'll play a key role in our integrated agency team. Your responsibilities will include:
- Anticipating your clients' needs by identifying opportunities, mitigating risks and ensuring we're always one step ahead of their needs.
- Acting as a champion for your clients within Mosaic, ensuring their business goals are understood and aligning them with Mosaic's expertise, insights, and best practices.
- Leading and inspiring integrated teams, both within our agency and within our clients' inter-agency teams. This includes understanding how to navigate across disciplines like media, measurement, digital, and more.
- Taking ownership of a portfolio of brands, ensuring successful strategy, executing with excellence, and results for each project.
- Collaborating across departments to elevate ideas and ensure projects are executed with expertise
- Being the go-to expert for both your internal team and your clients, guiding everyone toward success.
- Overseeing financial targets, budgets, forecasts, and account operations with confidence, while proactively managing challenges
- Staying ahead of industry trends to bring fresh, innovative perspectives to your clients.
Qualifications
What You'll Bring
We're on the lookout for someone who has:
- 7+ years of agency experience, within a Shopper, Commerce or an Integrated Marketing agency setting.
- A strategic mindset and a strong track record of success as an Account lead
- Exceptional relationship-building skills, especially within a collaborative environment
- Persuasive and confident approach to creative and strategic mandates
- Strong written and oral communication skills in both English and French
- Effective team management capabilities and exceptional team leadership skills - you'll inspire and motivate teams across various disciplines (creative, media, design, etc.).
- The ability to identify opportunities, build client trust and drive growth
