Job Description

The Director of ERP Systems has full responsibility for all aspects of the Corporate ERP system for Procurement and the execution of strategic and tactical projects as it pertains to Oracle solutions. The Director will work alongside the business, VP and SVP of ERP to oversee all systems planning, development, delivery, implementation, monitoring, and performance of applications, security, and infrastructure for the procurement platform. They will set and manage priorities for direct reports based on the business priorities, while ensuring all activities are complete and within project timelines. The Director of ERP Systems must have proven track record in implementation of large Oracle Cloud ERP systems.

Position must be located onsite at our company headquarters in Norwell, MA.

Responsibilities

  • Ensuring that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times.
  • Collaborate with the executive team and business stakeholders to identify, plan, develop and implement systems and support structure for the Procurement system.
  • Work alongside captive teams in India to develop and manage scalable high-performing teams across US and India.
  • Execute IT projects with business alignment based on established priorities.
  • Manage data integration and support between multiple systems to support Oracle Cloud with a proprietary backend .net system.
  • Monitor key organization requirements such as the daily execution and distribution of information. Direct the corrective actions resulting from overall system operation and performance.
  • Review and approve all application design customizations and any associated integrated applications with other systems.
  • Act as a liaison between the Procurement Organization and domain owners of respective systems.


Qualifications

  • 10 years of IT and business/industry work experience. Knowledge of procurement principles and as it pertains to IT is a must.
  • Deep knowledge of Oracle Cloud Procurement related to core Purchasing, Procurement Contracts, Sourcing, and how Oracle interacts with Inventory/SCM and Payables.
  • Ability to have discussions with business leaders and IT team-members to translate business requirements to IT needs. This includes leading functional spec meetings, Conference Room Pilots, configuration documents, and leading testing.
  • 10+ years of professional experience managing teams with multiple discipline representation (especially business processes, technology, and change management).
  • Experience implementing and upgrading Procurement modules within Oracle Cloud.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to communicate data, context, and implications effectively to the accounting function and leaders in these domains/modules.
  • BA/BS in Computer Science or related discipline, advanced degree strongly preferred.
