Summary:
As the Vice President of Operations at NAI, you will play a pivotal role in leading the manufacturing, quality, facilities, continuous improvement, and supply chain functions. Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer (COO), you will be responsible for driving operational excellence, developing robust processes, and scaling volumes to meet growing demand. Your primary focus will be on achieving delivery, cost, quality, and customer satisfaction goals while fostering a world-class operations organization.

Requirements
1.Develop and Lead a World-Class Operations Organization:
- Strategically develop and implement staffing, training, and talent management initiatives to build a high-performing operations team.
- Establish strategies and frameworks to achieve delivery, cost, quality, customer satisfaction and continuous improvement goals.
- Drive a culture of excellence, collaboration, and innovation within the operations team.
2.Accountable for Operational Excellence:
- Take ownership of all aspects of quality, test, facilities, continuous improvement, and supply chain functions.
- Oversee board and system level builds, ensuring adherence to high-quality standards.
- Set clear performance standards and metrics to ensure operational targets are met or exceeded.
- Regularly assess and improve operational processes to enhance efficiency and overall performance.
3.Inspire, Develop, and Engage the Operations Team:
- Lead by example, inspire, and motivate a diverse team of employees, fostering a positive work environment.
- Provide coaching, guidance, and professional development opportunities to enhance team members' skills and capabilities.
- Foster a culture of employee engagement, collaboration, and continuous learning.
4.Drive Performance and Achieve Goals:
- Collaborate closely with key stakeholders to align operations strategies with overall business objectives.
- Regularly monitor performance, analyze data, and implement corrective actions to ensure goal achievement.
5.Direct and Control Manufacturing and Test Operations:
- Oversee all manufacturing and test operations for the facility, including SMT board build through system level builds.
- Provide clear direction, support, and guidance to supervisory staff and indirect reports.
- Drive process improvement initiatives, ensuring adherence to safety standards, and promoting high-quality outputs.
6.Budgeting, Forecasting, and Cost Management:
- Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and cost control measures for the operations function.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to make informed make vs. buy decisions.
7.Flexibility and Customer Focus:
- Maintain a flexible customer-centric approach, ensuring that operations are aligned with customer needs and expectations.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Electronics, Engineering, Science, Industrial Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in a Manufacturing environment, with at least 8 years in a Manufacturing Management role.
- SMT board and systems level build experience preferred.
- In-depth knowledge and understanding of electronics manufacturing methods, production planning, procurement, and subcontract management.
- Proven experience with direct responsibility and accountability for managing multi-million-dollar manufacturing budgets and facilities.
- Strong background in quality and supply chain management.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Results-oriented mindset with a track record of achieving operational targets.
- Ability to foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Minimal travel required.
