POSITION SUMMARY

This position will be a key leader responsible for driving digital strategy, value-driven transformation and product execution, across the health system. This position will oversee digital, establish and track Objectives and Key Results (OKRs), and ensure digital product development aligns with organizational goals. This role focuses on enhancing digital products for patients, members, and clinicians, defined as the B2B (JV's and Non-Employed Physicians) and B2C (patient and members) populations. This individual will lead functions across product management, UX/UI design, digital engineering and innovation, compliance and security, accessibility, and overall delivery quality.

As a member of the executive leadership team within the technology organization, will partner closely with engineering, technology, data, clinical, marketing, health plan, legal and compliance, and operational leaders to deliver digital solutions that uphold the health system's mission and values.

CORE FUNCTIONS

1. Strategic Leadership, Team Leadership & Vision: Define and execute a patient-, member-, and clinician-centered digital strategy, developing a multi-year digital transformation roadmap to enhance user experience, support clinical and operational excellence, and integrate digital innovation with organizational strategies. Lead, mentor, and develop a diverse, high-performing team, fostering a collaborative culture focused on excellence in product management, resource management, and cross-functional alignment. Emphasize talent development and diversity, creating pathways for growth within the digital workforce.

2. Digital Value Stream Ownership: Manage digital value streams, ensuring alignment with the health system's strategic goals and delivering measurable outcomes that demonstrate value.

3. Product Management: Drive the development and lifecycle management of digital products and services to enhance patient experience and healthcare delivery. This includes establishing and tracking KPIs to guide data-driven decisions, facilitating the integration of change management and adoption of digital solutions across all levels, from clinical staff to executive leadership, and continuously assessing patient and clinician needs, leverage feedback loops to refine digital products, and analyze competitive trends to ensure market differentiation.

4. Digital Engineering, User Experience (UX/UI) and Design: Work hand-in-hand with engineering leadership to support the development of scalable, secure, and innovative healthcare technology solutions that prioritize patient engagement, satisfaction, and outcomes. Lead user-centered design initiatives and collaborate with design and product teams to enhance patient and clinician experiences across digital platforms, ensuring accessibility, ease of use, and alignment with the health system's standards.

5. Digital Innovation and Emerging Technologies: Identify and implement advanced technologies and strategic partnerships with key vendors, staying ahead of digital health trends to proactively address evolving needs, and leading pilot programs to evaluate and scale transformative solutions.

6. Data-Driven Personalization, Engagement, and Analytics: Utilize patient data to deliver personalized digital experiences and health interventions, contributing to improved patient adherence, preventive care, and satisfaction. Develop analytics to drive strategic decision-making, improve patient care, and optimize resource allocation across digital programs.

7. Compliance and Ethical Oversight: Ensure all digital initiatives meet healthcare regulations and data security standards, working with compliance and ethics teams to address privacy, consent, and potential biases in digital solutions.

8. Technology Ecosystem and Vendor Management: Manage relationships with third-party vendors and partners pertaining to functional scope and timelines, ensuring technology solutions align with organizational standards, are interoperable, and deliver measurable value.

9. Metrics-Driven Accountability, Budget and ROI Management: Develop and report on digital performance metrics that align with broader organizational KPIs, fostering a culture of accountability and transparency. Oversee budget responsibilities tied directly to ROI, prioritizing investments in high-impact projects that contribute to measurable returns on investment.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Healthcare Management, or Digital Innovation; equivalent professional experience will also be considered. Fifteen (15+) year of experience in digital product management, user experience, or digital transformation, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. Demonstrated expertise in digital transformation, value stream management, and product management. Proven experience in healthcare, health tech, or a related regulated environment.

Strong understanding of patient-centered technology solutions, healthcare IT systems, and RIO-driven budgeting. Highly proficient in digital product management and UX principles, including agile development, user research, and UI design best practices. Exceptional strategic thinking, problem-solving skills, and experience with data analytics, cybersecurity, and regulatory compliance in healthcare. Proven ability to lead in a fast-paced, matrixed environment and to drive digital transformation that delivers user-centered, value-driven solutions.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Master's Degree is preferred.
