Description: The Scrum Master will coordinate an Agile development team on a Government program in an Agile development environment. He or she will ensure all activities use the principles of the Scrum framework. The successful candidate will take a servant leader approach to help the team self-organize and adopt an attitude of continuous improvement.
Scrum Master Job Duties:
Security Clearance Requirements: Active Top Secret (TS) required. Candidates must already possess this clearance level upon applying.
Experience Requirements: Minimum 5 years of experience
Education Requirements: Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, computer engineering, or related technical field.
Desired Skills / Qualifications: Scrum Master certification; experience with Government IT systems preferred; excellent oral and written communication skills.
Location: Remote, local to Fairmont, WV preferred.
Status: Full time
Schedule: Day shift, Monday-Friday
Physical Requirements: Must be able to remain in a stationary position for long durations of time. Also, must be able to continuously operate a computer and other office productivity machinery.

Scrum Master Job Duties:
- Facilitate all team meetings, including but not limited to the daily stand-up, sprint planning, team demonstration, and sprint retrospective
- Track and report daily schedules
- Actively identify, address, and remove impediments to ensure assigned sprints and projects are completed on time
- Keep the team focused on daily and sprint goals; help achievement with respect to quality, flow, and velocity
- Facilitate the team's retrospective; lead the team's improvement efforts
- Support the Product Owner with respect to priorities and scope
- Promote Agile quality practices so the team can meet its goals
- Provide communication to other Agile teams
- Guide the team in estimating work
- Perform other duties as assigned
